You F%$#@ing Post too Much!!!

It's truly incredible that in 2017 you must become a brand to be an entrepreneur.  Or is it, to be an entrepreneur you must become a brand?  I guess it's the chicken or the egg thing but regardless of what comes first, the fact of the matter is that your talent alone will NOT get you there in today's fast-moving social media-driven ecosystem and those entrepreneurs that don't believe this piece of information, will be in a huge shock in the next 5 to 10 years.  The good news is, we all have a chance!  The playing field is wide open and still pretty leveled for the most part.  How long will this last, is the big question.  Eventually, more and more people will realize that their customers have their faces facing their phones for about 10 hours a day and will be forced to get in the game.  But the game isn't easy.  It's a job just like any other and some of it really sucks.  Like writing blogs!  lol  Kidding.  I love writing but it's not just the only thing I do.  It's Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat (Which I don't even understand) Podcasts, Live Streams and so much more.  Do you have any idea how depressed I get when someone mentions a new app that's great for business?  A little of me dies inside.  But, I'm forced to write down the name and research the damn app!  99% of the times the damn app is great which makes me even angrier.  And, I get it.  Complaining feels good when you're overwhelmed with social media and most people that don't get it, will live very comfortably in that area for a while but as I stated, eventually, they must throw on their running shoes and jumpsuits and join us in the race.  The race can be fun if you learn the rules and run with a purpose.  JHS
